Women Empowerment & Livelihood Mission

Parvarish Foundation is a rural development initiative focused on building an equitable, educated, and self-reliant society. Founded by an IIT-BHU alumnus with over 20 years of experience in education and social entrepreneurship, the foundation is committed to creating sustainable opportunities for women, children, and youth in underdeveloped regions, especially in and around Mau district, Uttar Pradesh.

Our mission is rooted in three key pillars:
Women Empowerment & Livelihood, Educational Support, and Vocational Training & Microfinancing.

1. Women Empowerment & Livelihood Mission

At Parvarish Foundation, we believe that empowering women is essential to uplifting entire communities. Through targeted skill development and entrepreneurial support, we help rural women transition from unpaid laborers to income-generating leaders.

Skill-Based Employment

We provide rural women with hands-on training in areas such as:

  • Tailoring and Garment Production: Women are engaged in stitching school uniforms for local institutions, ensuring steady work and market linkage.
  • Educational Toy and Puzzle Manufacturing: Using locally sourced wood and metal, women help produce innovative, handmade educational tools designed to develop children’s mathematical and analytical skills.

This model not only provides income but also enhances dignity, creativity, and financial independence.

Entrepreneurship Development

We nurture women-led microenterprises that combine tradition with innovation, such as:

  • Traditional-Style Restaurant: A rural eatery run by local women, offering authentic cuisine to visitors at the culturally significant site of Shooltankeshwar—creating jobs while preserving culinary heritage.
  • Sweet and Pickle Shop (with Online Ordering): Homemade products prepared and sold by women, with an expanding market through online platforms targeting urban buyers.
  • Rural Food Delivery Startup: Inspired by Swiggy and Zomato, our startup connects women cooks in villages to nearby towns and hostels via a tiffin and food delivery network—leveraging digital tools for rural entrepreneurship.
