About this programme
Under this programme we help those facing a calamity or a turmoil in their lives.
During COVID-19 we spent more than Rs 7 million on relief, mainly in Lahore, Kasur, Faisalabad and Okara. Our President personally took ration bags to far flung areas to make sure help reached those who needed it most. 3,500 ration bags, 500 health kits, 500 blankets and 2,000 pairs of shoes were distributed, and 150 families received financial aid.
When the floods of June 2022 displaced around 33 million people, our President visited Rajanpur, Fazilpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and Swat with warm clothes, ration bags, water, shoes, blankets, waterproof tents and cash. We then began rebuilding: 13 houses have been constructed and handed over, and 2 more are under construction.
